How To Unlock Rca Dvd

El Valle Panama City

Beach in Santa Catalina, Panama

Our last entry ended in Boquete, a village in the cool highlands of Panama. We decided in St. Catalina to dive again, once on the Pacific side. We went by boat to the nearby island of Coiba, wonderful, crystal clear Wasser.Die underwater world was totally different, so we saw one shark, (but only 2m Small), many Lobbes, starfish and turtles, and as always a heap of colorful fish .

These images I copied from the homepage of the dive center, but we saw this Animals actually

Santa Catalina was in the middle of nowhere ', then you can really only diving and surfing. In the small village there is no Internet, such as 3 restaurants and hotels. The village population entertained us, however, on Whit Monday with an Asterix & Obelix suitable Massenschlaegerei, which was instigated by a drunk man with a surprise attack with a bar stool on the back of the head of a rival family member, and soon both young and old was tearing including local police on.

Then we were to dive from the teacher and her husband, Santiago chauffeured, this occurred because I wanted to pay with my credit card bill to dive. In order to tap into the satellite network, they must always take the car on a hill, and only then is a booking possible. We have but did not work (no reception), and so accompanied them 2.5 hours to the bank, where we then took off the money and paid the bill. Heading another chicken came under the wheels, which somehow wandered aimlessly in the streets.

From Santiago we went to only 1.5 hours to get to El Valle, a village in the middle of an extinct volcano. We stayed here 2 nights and visited a zoo, but these were not very much. Animal welfare here seems to be an alien concept, so rabbits are housed in Gitterkaefigen bleed (even the floor is a wire mesh) on the paws, birds can sometimes opening their wings at all, because the cage is too narrow. But we also saw many different animals we have never seen as the gold frog.

Then she went to Panama City, New York from Central America and gateway to the Panama Canal. was first inhabited we left our old colonial Casco Viejo built on, especially for the time of canal construction of the various engineers and managers.

Panama Canal On Next day we had to get up early to catch the 07.15 clock train from Panama to Colon. The railway line was only 10 years ago back to life, and runs more or less parallel to the channel.
So we had our first impression of this huge, about 80 km long structure that the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean to each other.

In the afternoon we visited the locks at Miraflores, where the ships reduced to a higher or lower level, or be lifted. Sorry, we did not see any really big ships. The greatest dimensions are 305m length and 35m width. This measurement is expressed as Panamax; adhere to the many boat manufacturers. But long, there are bigger ships, so the channel will be expanded in 2007 for about $ 8 billion, durchzuschleusen to the super large tanks.

  • came the construction of canals around 28,000 people died, mostly from malaria and other tropical diseases
  • The lowest forward price paid in 1937 a man who crossed the Channel swim. The price is always the useful volume, so he had to pay for his athletic body 37 cents.
  • pay the big ships up to 250,000 U.S. $ Kanalgebuehr, but this is still cheaper than to ship untenrum
  • The canal was opened on 15th August 1914, with the construction was started in 1881.

Unfortunately, only one model, this ship would be the channel for much too big

The 2-stage Miraflores lock in

course, we were still in the New Town, dotted with skyscrapers and the Manhattan New York is like. Really very impressive, very busy and loud.

This flag is huge, costing $ 25,000 each month and must be replaced. Is something like the symbol of Panama.

here had we really homesick: In Rincon Suizo in Bünderfleisch, raclette and Schümli Pflümli
What is here more pronounced maintained as in Guatemala and tuned, are the Camionetas that glow in all colors, chrome, have four times the exhaust pipes, and sometimes a wandering Disco same. The proud owners make every effort to airbrush the most beautiful and largest Kuehlerfiguren to have. This competition is never an end, to the delight of the astonished people who look after the Camionetas smile.

Our time in Zentalamerika is complete. From Saturday to Sunday, we drove 17 hours bus back to San Jose in Costa Rica, to take a flight to Santa Domingo. The fare is about $ 200 lower cost Costa Rica from Panama. On Monday we met with Judith and her boyfriend Jonnie on the Dominican Republic, Bavaro. We will stay here at the Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino *****, all inclusive, because Jonnie is Recepzion-chief and was able to film something for us. Dyes his cool, right? Not bad, after all the small and sometimes grubby hostel rooms. We will talk more about it in a few days, first because we really want to enjoy the luxury of time.
