Caribbean and Beinwil

Palm beach in Bavaro, Dominican Republic

this last blog entry, we have to write from our office, Beinwil. On the way home we had to be done, so we were able to take place at 12.15 clock in the evening at 17.20 the family, friends and resources provided at the arrival hall champagne reception in Kloten with some logistical difficulties of the airline. We missed our people very much, and we are really glad to be back at home, in our most familiar surroundings Hallwilersee. But first, time still report for the last two weeks.
reunion with Jutta in Santo Domingo

Jutta Yony with a friend from the cathedral. Rep

Judith picked us up at the airport in Santo Domingo, and taken to the hotel about three hours away in Bavaro. It was a huge first glance hardly customizable system. In the honeymoon suite, but we have settled very quickly, and have the luxury of simply savored times.

the mini golf

We could get married there may Wedding-in Chappel. But as I said: Certainly not without you!

Neat and clean garden

Impressive decorations in the dining room

The expansive beach outside our hotel

All inclusive is glorious: The whole day free beer! Even better: The operation!

We have actually done not very much, because even with the all-inclusive offers no need for any outside activity exists. However, we were able to surf again a bit, the trade winds are constant, but not really violent. We were once on a dive, it was again completely different from that previously experienced. In the Caribbean, the visibility in crystal clear water a lot better, it is also a dive much more relaxed and you can see more easily.

From the deck chair in the cool sea and back again

surfing was also included, unfortunately just tested with little wind

nightlife also times out ....

... times in the hotel's discotheque!

Jutta and Yony

We have spent the majority of time with nothing and sönnele (we were also really brown), ate a lot and well.

nice brown roasted, but not quite everywhere ...;-) effort

The obligatory beach shoot

not only better enjoy the evening sun

Santo Domingo

Exactly one week later, Jeanette and I went once before to Santo Domingo, Judith stayed at the hotel. The capital was after the discovery of Hispaniola, 1492 (today Haiti and Dom. Rep.) by Bartolome Colon, brother of Christopher Columbus (Cristobal Colon) governed and managed. It is not difficult, the English and Moorish influences some of the colonial conquerors are seen, the city offers a number of historical sights. Of course, even here, tourism is the main source of income, there is in the charming pedestrian street Calle el Conde also hundreds of Turi-shops that hawk mostly useless dust collector and the famous "Mama Juana". The Mama Juana is a brandy, rum, wine and honey in roots, herbs and leaves, is inserted, and therefore for all (?!)... good (is power, stomach, blood, pain, cancer, depression ....) In any case it tastes.

Here you can squander the last holiday money, everything is very expensive.

Inside are the remains of Christopher Columbus lie, as well as in Seville and Havana. Well, we hope that Columbus has won its dead peace, wherever this may be the ...

We had a very busy time with many experiences and impressions. We have met many people, countries and cultures, sometimes better and sometimes less good.
